What is Stalling the Upgraded Leopards???

Despite the fact that Military experts say, that upgrading of Leopard tanks (Borrowed) is not going to do a lot of good. The imminent Morale boost that it will gives the troops is well worth the over priced behemoths. Tank warfare is condusive to the plains of Afghanistan but not the mountainous regions where the TALIBAN cower in hiding.

It is important that NATO provide more mountain troops to seek out the enemy.Whatever happened to the elite Alpine troops of Italy?

Our troops are doing their very best with what equipment they currently have. As always Canada will make do..........but this must stop with the provision of modern weaponry and equipment NOW. In order that this mess gets cleared up quicker and with less casualties on NATO's side.

    Over priced behemoth?
Hardly my dear writer, what we payed for the tanks is a bargan. You canot buy old russian T-72's for that price!
Tanks are kneeded because the taliban hide behind those thick mud and stone walls whear small arms canot get them.Afghanistan is getting better, everyday we show the people we will not leave and they support us.If they fear that we might leave then they are scared to stand up because they know they will have no protection after we ARE gone. The country will get better and I am sure of this because when we give a farmer seed and equipment he makes a go of it,In bosnia the people waited for us to do everything. The afghan people are hard working and decent and to win we must show our commitment to them and to our fellow Canadians. As soon as we show them we will be there they will start to tell the local police who the bad guys are and they can help fix it on there own, just if we leave any town right now the local taliban warlord rises back up and will deal with the men and women who once stood beside us,and kill them.We have many freedoms in Canada that the people of afghanistan do not have.As Canadians we fought is two world wars to give our countymens lives for peace is Europe and the Pacific, and we owe these people our dedication to give them a chance also to have the same rights as France and Holland and many others we spilled our blood on.It is time once again to be Canadian and offer up our best for peace in some far away land.I suppose some will call me a war monger but believe me,peace is the best.I am on the side for peace but only after we fix what is wrong,I mean how many people will argue me now? Please step forward and let me trat you like a afghan 8 years ago.I bet many would be crying for help then wouldent ya?Afghan women now go to school and have jobs and as simple as that sounds they carry the hopes and dreams of an entire nation, just for a chance to have a life worth living!Something most here would only DEMAND!
