Many Canadians may not be aware that currently the span of life in Afghanistan is 42.6 years from birth. What a difference from Canada where currently 80.34 years from birth is the norm. Canada has not been as low as Afghanistan since before statistics were recorded. In 1920 Canadians life span was 59 years. Perhaps this will mean nothing to the average Canuck, but if we can help to stabilise the political, health, education and democratic parts of the Afghan nation. Then they too will enjoy a stable lifestyle and should increase their span of life.
