Returning Soldiers!!

Welcome home to the first of our PEI reserves. Cpl Tyler Coady of Charlottetown. He received his wounds from an IED as well as others in his vehicle. Although temporarily blinded and deafened he drove his vehicle away from imminent attack to a less vulnerable position.

Good Show Cpl. Coady! ! ! ! You and the many others make Canada Proud. I hope that today you see an overwhelming amount of people wearing RED on This Friday. to show their support for you and your comrades still in theatre.

I would like to recommend a book which may assist you in trying to understand Afghanistan and the conflict within. I was sent a copy recently from an old Soldier Apprentice ,friend Ed Beveridge in sunny NL. Thanks Ed I cannot put this book down. So faithful readers get it from the Library and have a VERY interesting read.

Title: Canada in Afghanistan the war so far

Author: Peter Piggot ISBN:978-1-5502-674-0
