Thanks to all who have commented on previous Blogs. The Blog titled I am Shocked Personally generated 1200 hits and 12 comments. The highest number thus far.
As this week ends with the interment of the six Soldiers killed last weekend, we have another news release about 2 more wounded troops today as well as the four injured a few days ago. The IED's and the suicide bombers are not conventional warfare as we know it and our troops have a dangerous job on behalf of NATO and the world.
Our thoughts and prayers go with the families of the men who will be buried this week and we pray that they will be watching over their comrades in arms from the advance party.
This conflict is going to rage on for years and I feel that Prime Minister Harper and his Government should have a think tank formed after the summer recess, to see what if anything we can do to end it.
I realise that NAPALM has been banned , however to napalm all the isolated poppy fields would destroy the cash crop of the Taliban,with minimum casualties as the Locals are kept away from these areas. Something to think about??? Perhaps the eradication of this illegal drug growth will hurt them more than the, martyrs they believe in. No Cash No Arms
