A big Salute to the troops serving in Conflicts ! ! !

My cap is raised in salute yet again to our brave troops. The latest series of SUICIDE BOMBERS target civilian women and children that were greeted by NATO troops. A Dutch soldier was sent to the advance party. Our sympathies and salutes to him and his family, at this sad time in their personal sacrifice.

However the difficulty in fighting these sadistic killers who use suicide bombs against women and children is absolutely disgusting. The decisions by soldiers must be split second and in extreme conditions. Who or what does a suicide bomber look like? They are all different in dress and mannerisms. The only common link is their absolute disregard for life. Our troops are not in combat with soldiers of a different uniform, which makes it increasingly difficult to identify targets amongst the civilian population who are dressed the same way.

Think hard Canadians could you do what your troops are doing? If not then at least support them. If you feel that you could make a difference then enlist. If you are a peacenik think long and hard about the targets of terrorism, women, children the poor and anyone they feel looks or acts differently.

Use your voice and your votes to assist our men and women. Do not protest against them, as I have mentioned the Al Quaida group and others of their ilk kill indiscriminately. No compassion, No future plan for a green safe world. They must be eliminated, arrested , tried and yes even executed to rid the planet of their Evil. Remember SUPPORT our TROOPS SUPPORT CANADA

Robby.... Once again you have hit the nail squarely on the head. I know that you have had sand in your boots and from my own personal experiences in the world's sandboxes we have a good idea of what is facing our men and women when they climb off of that plane in Afghanistan or wherever else they end up being sent to take part in someone else's war. From the minute they arrive until the day they are repatriated to Canada they are surrounded by the enemy. An enemy who has no uniform, no hatbadge, not even an arm band to signify their cause. They are fanatics who do not hold life in the high esteem which we do and worst of all they claim to be carrying out their horrific deeds in the name of God. Can they ever be conquered? I doubt it as there has been one group or another trying to sort out that mess since the beginning of time. We must support our men and women in uniform and pray that they keep safe until the day the big bird flies west. Thanks Robby.....
