Liberals?? Canadians ???

It is always easy to complain and or to question the serving Government when you are in Opposition. However if these Liberals that were pressing our Defence Minister with regard to Afghan Detainees.. SHAME on them ...Leading the latest attack was Ontario Liberal MP Ruby Dhalla, this duly elected MP should refrain from asking questions in the public forum that may affect the troops in combat zones. She should be proud to be a Canadian and should perhaps be asking questions that may benefit our Canadian men and women far away in defence of freedom.

Once again it is RED FRIDAY lets show our support.

As the brother of a soldier soon to be serving in Afghanistan I find this McCarthy-esque-blind-faith very disturbing.

No one has accused Canadian soldiers of mistreating prisoners, only questioned why Canada isn't making sure prisoners are treated the way we hope our soldiers would be treated if captured.

Canada is in Afghanistan to help rebuild a nation and hopefully set it on the path to a more democratic state. One where politicians (representing citizens) are allowed to ask any question they like.

When we stop asking questions or making people accountable we risk losing our liberty.

To think that asking legitimate questions in Parliament will somehow affect our troops is childish. How stupid do you think we are?
