Two Wounded

Our best wishes for a speedy recovery to the two brave young men who were wounded today by a suicide bomber.

Members of The Royal Canadian Regiment one of Canada's elite Infantry regiments. The senior Infantry Regiment of Canada which was founded December 1883. As the Royal Canadian School of Infantry. At the start of the African Campaign 1899 they were renamed The Royal Canadian Regiment of Infantry. Since those early beginnings not a war, nor conflict has passed without the RCR being a great part of each. From peacekeeping in Cyprus to Kosovo, Bosnia and now Afghanistan. The members of this regiment have a right to be proud.

On yet another note we have had a letter from Australia Thanking Canada for their contribution in Afghanistan. This can be read in an earlier Blog.

Remember citizens of PEI the Charity Bingo for the Military Families Services centre of PEI will be held this coming Friday ,at HMCS Charlottetown on Water Street.
