NATO Veterans re-grouping

NATO veterans Patch

We are now a fullmonth into the year 2012. The Chinese New Year says it is a year of renewal. With that in mind, Canada has many Veterans units across this vast land. Legion,VAC,CPVA etc. Far too many groups in my mind.

An old adage of warfare is not to be fighting on too many fronts. With this in mind the NATO Veterans Organisation of Canada has a format for changing plans and priorities for this year of our Lord 2012.

The NATO Veterans of Canada are renewing their Policies, and Memberships this year.

John Profit former President of the PEI Chapter has resigned due to health reasons. Get well John. The new PEI president is Debbie Reid Sgt(ret). Congratulations Deb.

So to old members please get your 2012 membership into head office and to NEW members please check out our web site and using the interactive map of Canada locate your area representative.

With all the new plans for Veterans Programs within the DVA and Parliament now is the time to let your voice and vote stand up for Veterans Rights.

To all our serving Troops the NATO veterans salute you and know that your professionalism is shining through in this troubled world.

While I'm all for the NATO org and indeed did serve with NATO I wonder what ever happened to SEATO with whom I also served in the Far East 1956-58.( "South East Asia Treaty Org") I have seen no mention of this org for many years???
