Your Canadian Army is very busy currently.
The Engineers held an engineering camp in Valcartier earlier this month. The training involved:

No No I've not forgotten the NAVY Canada's submarine service is hard at er as well what with sea trials for the newly refurbished HMCS Victoria.
With the successful completion of a number of key milestones, including a series of static dives in Esquimalt Harbour, Victoria will continue her Tiered Readiness Program that will see the submarine fully weaponized, the crew certified, and both being declared fully operational in 2012. In the wind down to Christmas we must share a prayer or thought for those serving far from home and their loved ones. The crew of HMCS Vancouver all of our Trainers in Afghanistan and also the men and women serving Globally with NATO and the United Nations.
The families of these personnel serving away are proud of their loved ones and look forward to their safe return as the deployment passes.
