Totem Memorial

Totem Memorial Victoria BC

11/11/2011

As anyone who has visited  Victoria BC. There is a very tall Very striking Totem pole at the front end of Beacon Hill park not too far from Mile 0.

I have spoken to many Victoria residents about this Totem and asking them what they know of it.

They all said tallest Totem, but NO ONE said that it is also a memorial for the Aboriginal Soldiers that died for Canada in both the First world war and the second world war. I am so proud to know that these brave Canadians are remembered with this Totem. ( I hope that the internet writing allows the photos.)

As many Canadians head to their local cenotaph or place of memory this Friday. we will remember our men and women who paid the ultimate price in Afghanistan. God Bless them one and all.

In the news I am willing to bet that the next deployment of Canadians will be to Syria and Iran. These countries both run by mad men are garnering a lot of support within the UN and NATO.

Please remember our Troops where ever they may be serving.

Enjoy the west coast Naval newspaper for this Remembrance week.

One guy here in Toronto stole 3 from three different pizza places & coffee shops, then another guy stole two at a Tim Hortons after putting in his order. I agree they are lowlifes, its disgusting that anyone could do that. I also agree they all should be punished .

Another mindless lowlife steals the poppy fund box from a Tim Hortons. I hope PEI Judges send him away for 2 years plus a day. That way he will be sent out of Province.
