Sunday Sept 18th a Busy Day


Battle of Britain a Game Changer in History

 

 

On Sunday Sept 18th Canadians and allies will once again, conduct memorial services across the world. To honour the men and women who lived and fought in the Battle of Britain 71 years ago. Locally President John Yeo of The Royal Canadian legion in Charlottetown has called a memorial parade and service at Sherwood cemetary full details; http://www.charlottetownlegion.ca/

Also on Sept 18th the 4th Annual Great Canadian Army run will once again take to the roads of Canada's Capital. This is the fastest growing road race in Canada It grew 50% in 2009 and is still growing.

For those who may wondering what our Canadian Soldiers are up to since the Combat mission in Afghanistan ceased, well that answer is easy....Training....Training and more Training in order to be fit and ready for any mission that they are called for. As the Royal Canadian Airforce and the Royal Canadian Navy carry out their mission off shore and above Libya. I send best wishes and a safe return home, when the time comes.
