Yes Canada's first contingent of Combat Troops returned to their loved ones , families and friends. CFB Valcartier has had a lot of sadness over the past decade. For a change a celebratory mood was the order of the day.
The Van Doos lost 15 men during the Afghan Mission.

As for Libya it certainly looks like we are going to there for a considerable time. The so called rebels are complaining that they are not receiving Military equipment, nor do they think NATO bombing raids are working in their favour. This too me shows that these Libyans want Western Money and weapons, to fight their cause. Well I feel we should give them all they ask for BUT pull our sailors and airmen from the mission. Dollars and weapons are better than Canadian or NATO blood and lives.
