Libyan Civil War created by NATO

First Militia Fort Victoria

Libyan Leader Mohamar Ghadaffi says that NATO will not defeat him. Associated press wrote quite a long article with regard to Ghadaffi's latest RANT.

The article is 26 Paragraphs in length. In Paragraph 25 the Kicker is right there, What started as a peaceful uprising inside Libya against Gadhafi has grown into a civil war, with rebels now holding a third of the country in the east and pockets in the west.

Civil War being the Key phrase, why is NATO and indeed Canada involved in another countries Civil War?

I pray that 5 ywears from now we are still not fighting in Libya, as we did in Afghanistan.

On a better note our Tanks have returned from the outlying areas of Afghanistan to the relative safety and comfort of Kandahar. Well done our tankers and their support teams. Mechanics, cooks, Clerks, refuellers etc.

While I have been exploring this part of Canada. I came across a placque on the history of Ft Victoria. The first Militia unit to serve the King in defence of Ft Victoria were indeed a group of 43 Black Americans who escaped Slavery and made it to Victoria. I am searching for a better photo to share with you. This is a unique and relatively unknown fact about Canada's Military History.

Please show support for our troops as they rotate home, and please say a few words in prayer for the airmen and sailors serving off the coast of Libya
