Confusion, Libya, Afghanistan and the USA

Suicide Bombers at work

What sad times around the globe at the moment. Terror in Japan with the newest Quake. Snipers shooting children in Libya. NATO bombs striking rebel tanks. Suicide bombers in Afghanistan. Finally in the USA the budget may not be passed. This will have Global consequences.

I found it amusing that the CBC news mentioned that the US Military may not get paid for a while. This happened in Canada to Canadian military and their families back in the sixties. We were issues Chits/scripp to use for Groceries in the MLS which at that time was the grocery out let on bases in Canada and in Germany. The soldiers of the USA fighting on two fronts? or is it 3 will simply have to suck it up as the modern saying goes. Not that, that is the correct answer they of all Americans deserve their pay.

The latest suicide bombers killed 5 local Afghan Policemen (see photo)

On Monday of this week 2 US soldiers were killed were killed by an insurgent wearing an AFghan Police uniform.

Where is the enemy in this arid land?

My thoughts and prayers go out to the People of Japan as well as to our troops and their families. Easter is coming at the end of the month. Please give a thought to our soldiers who will not be sharing an Easter Egg with their children nor loved ones.
