Sad as any death is , the decision to add the name of Captain Frank Paul to the list of Afghanistan casualties, will honour his service.
I am shocked at the disgracful and tacky comments on the CBC Story of this Captains passing. One nice comment stands out:
I cannot believe the insensitivity being displayed by a handful of posters on this story. This is not the time and place to split hairs as to the POSSIBLE cause of the untimely demise of Captain Frank Cecil Paul.
It IS the time and place to show our respect and give thanks to a person that gave the majority of his life to our proud Canadian Forces, and did his share performing a duty that a lot of us would have trouble with for a week, never mind 35 years.
Thank you Captain Frank Paul. Condolences to the family and friends.

As sad as this story is of a soldiers death, whereever he/she was physically on this earth. I must say thank you to this Medic who served his country and paid the ultimate price.
On a lighter note, North and South Korea, Wilikleaks, are all in the headlines except for PEI. Todays front page of the Guardian had a large story on such an important wordly issue as Sunday Shopping and the nail biting tie vote which had to be broken by the Speaker of the House. No wonder we cannot get large crowds out to the Red Rallies, if Sunday Shopping is the big issue on PEI. This must be a laughable issue for the rest of the world.
