Canada The True North Strong and Free

Red Rally Charlottetown
Another Remembrance Poem

Well the Omar Khadr trial is finished he admitted his guilt. Sadly they had a plea bargain in place so he will not serve his 40 year sentence, Sad that an act of Murder cannot be punished to the full extent of the law.

Yes he will serve a further year in a US Facility Then he May Apply for repatriation to a soft Canadian Cell. I certainly hope that the Government of the day, when the application is received Do not return a Terrorist to Canada. No Matter where he was Born he is a convicted terrorist, murderer who has a hatred for non Islamic believers.

Perhaps he will re study his Koran and find the passage that preaches peace.

Please do not forget the PEI Red Rally on Friday Nov 05 at the Atrium in the DVA HQ on Grafton st. See PDF.

The move is afoot for bringing our troops home, Please show support for them.

Well, actually it was a military tribunal, not a trial -- designed to produce a conviction on charges that wouldn't have stood up in any legitimate court of law. The so-called murder took place during a firefight in a war zone. The so-called murderer was a fifteen year old boy who, under international law is classified a child soldier and considered a victim, not a perpetrator. Having been held illegally for seven years, tortured, brutalized and abandoned by his own country, he confessed at a show trial rather than spend the rest of his life in a black hole. Shameful.

You seem confused you say in your first line not a trial and you end with the words Show Trial. Either way this terrorist (of any Age) was captured, his wounds attended to,(sadly for Captain Semrau) which saved his life he also took at least one life, Sgt Speer a Medic, how many others had he struck down in the name of Terrorism and the Jihad. Wake up Sturla and see the world as it is. Thank you for your comments soldiers fight for your right of free speech.
