Red Friday Thoughts !!

Flood Victims taliban threats

As yet another Red Friday is upon us the big news is that Canadian Troops are in the final stages of preparing for a massive assault on the Taliban terrorists of Kandahar and Panjaway regions. I say a prayer that none of our troops or allies lose another soldier  in the Battle to free Afghanis.

Members of Canada’s Invisible Army must be stressed to the limit, when reading this type of news story, my prayers also go out to them, and pray that none of them receive the dreaded midnight call.

It is also difficult to understand the Taliban cowards in Pakistan who would threaten their own. People who have been devastated by Mother Nature, not to accept aid from Foreigners. What religion teaches this? None that I am aware of.

Also in Afghanistan Volunteers in a political Campaign were taken hostage. Just think how lucky Canadian Political volunteers and Campaigners are:

The latest example occurred Thursday when about a dozen gunmen stormed a police checkpoint at the entrance to the city of Kunduz, about 150 miles (240 kilometres) north of the Afghan capital, Kabul. Eight policemen were killed, provincial police chief Abdul Raziq Yaqoubi said.

Also Thursday, a candidate in next month's parliamentary elections said 10 of her campaign workers were kidnapped while travelling in the northwestern province of Herat, 450 miles (725 kilometres) west of the capital.

It would be wonderful if Churches Chapels Synagogues Temples and Mosques would all say a prayer for peace at the same time Globally. Who knows it may work!
