The Friends of the Confederation Centre's 15th annual festive wreath contest and exhibit was again a hit of the holiday season.
This year's contest had 38 entries with a wide range of designs. The wreaths remain on display in the Confederation Centre concourse until Dec. 22.
"Each year we choose new judges to represent our community," said Friends president Kathy Roney.
"The judging is completely anonymous except for the Organizers' Choice which is chosen after much thought - and often heated discussion."
The Friends launched a new event this year, a holiday craft party. Children and adults came to the centre to make a variety of Christmas crafts, including decorating cookies.
"This was a great success that we plan to hold annually in conjunction with the festive wreath contest and exhibit," Roney said.
